Goodwood Events
2022 sees the launch of two events: the inaugural Goodwoof, which is a fabulous celebration all about dogs; and Eroica Britannia, a vintage cycling festival where riders and their pre-1987 bikes will take to the same roads at Goodwood where the 1982 UCI Road World Championships were won and lost.
The Goodwood event “Festival of Speed” is an intoxicating mix of cars, stars and motorsport royalty that come together over four superb days. The largest event of its kind, the event gathers together the planet’s rarest and most glamorous cars.
Between the most famous Goodwood event, we can find the Qatar Goodwood Festival. With five days of thrilling action set against the magnificent backdrop of the rolling Sussex countryside, Qatar Goodwood Festival – popularly known as Glorious Goodwood – is the sporting and social highlight of the flat-racing season.
Another remarkable Goodwood event is the Goodwood Revival. The smell of engines mingles with the roar of iconic race cars at Goodwood Revival, a three-day September festival celebrating the halcyon days of motor racing with the accompanying glamour of the 1940s, ’50s and ’60s.
Considering that dogs have been at the heart of life on the Goodwood Estate for over three hundred years and will forever be part of the family. They’ve created Goodwoof to share their love of all things dog and celebrate their canine companions in spectacular style with another remarkable Goodwood event.
Finally, The Eroica Britannia vintage cycling festival is moving to Sussex in August 2022, becoming a part of the Goodwood events set. Riders and their pre-1987 bikes will take to three new routes with stunning views of the Sussex South Downs.
